Studio Apostoli have been shortlisted for Spa/Spa Hotel Award in The International Hotel and Property Awards 2022.

A set that seems to emerge from the forest and integrates perfectly in the landscape in which it is located; in coherence with the philosophy of the Brand, Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti reinterprets the traditional architecture of the place, finding the recurring elements of mountain constructions, such as wood, stone and the rigorous simplicity of finishes, mediated through a strong Italian style that confers prestige and luxury internationally. Starting from these elements, the Alberto Apostoli Studio, a multi-award-winning architectural signature in the receptive and wellness field, has laid the foundations for the interior design concept.

A design idea that, wanted to communicate precise values, a contemporary luxury and an environmental and energetic sustainability. The structure is spread over nine levels, naturally resting on the surrounding mountains, four dedicated to private residences and five to the hotel suites. It provides 86 suites and 23 residences, an absolute innovation in the Italian real estate panorama that offers the owners the possibility to access the services of the Resort and to participate in the “Rental programme”, providing the unit during periods of non-use.

The hotel also offers many services including two restaurants, lounge bar, reading room, meeting area and a 24-hour gym. The heart of the Resort remains certainly Lefay SPA, the wellness area that, with its 5,000 square meters is one of the most extensive of the Alps. From an aquatic epicentre reminiscent of the atmospheres of the ancient baths, the SPA unfolds in large themed areas.

Out of doubt, the attention to little details is what creates the feeling of luxury, together with the careful choice of colours and materials, aimed to surround the client with warmness and tranquillity. Each area has been designed to appear as a little surprise to the final client, so that every corner has its uniqueness even if all of them are part of the same idea.

In this project, the connection between indoor and outdoor is key to the interpretation of the spaces: the surrounding wood and mountains become part of the furniture themselves, unveiling unexpected scenarios through the floors and enriching the interior design. The building, although its considerable size, is carefully nestled on the mountain side, so that it could disappear at an inattentive eye.
