Liberty Entertainment Group have been Shortlisted for Bar/Club/Lounge – Global Award in The International Hotel and Property Awards 2021.

Located in the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment District, Arcane fuses sophisticated Baroque undertones with modern design and state-of-the-art sound, lighting and visual effects. With a 4K display spanning 30 feet across the interior as a backdrop for exotic performers, this venue is shrouded in mystery, laced with drama, and immediately captivating. The project features natural raw materials such as wood beams and exposed brick walls with contemporary art inspired by urban culture.

Juxtaposed yet balanced in both design and atmosphere, Arcane can only be understood by few. The 8,000 square foot space contains an elegance that has permeated throughout Liberty Group’s illustrious portfolio. A bohemian-inspired lounge provides an unimposing chill upon entry, while the nightclub area accommodates a more upbeat vibe. Arcane also features a secluded 2,000 square foot patio that will serve as an oasis in the heart of the city. Xango’s menu focuses on Latin cuisine, twisting Latin and Asian flavours to create a breakthrough restaurant experience that encompasses both authentic dishes and inspired new favourites. Inspired by the authentic taste of Nikkei cuisine, an evolution of Japanese- Peruvian cuisines, each dish will play on a multitude of colours and flavours that merge together two of the world’s most intriguing cuisines.

Like the food, the space itself is both bold and vibrant and an eclectic mix of cultures. The restaurant boasts several uniquely designed spaces: the main dining room which seats 70, the lounge which seats 40, and the private dining room which seats 18. The main dining room features expansive colourful artwork and custom lighting fixtures. Xango fuses natural raw materials such as wood beams and exposed brick walls with contemporary art inspired by urban culture. The space is designed to evoke a sense of playfulness for a truly unique dining experience.

The design works so well as each space/area within the venue is unique and feels very inviting, while there is an overall design aesthetic and cohesiveness to the design.
