MOKO Interior
MOKO Interior have been shortlisted for Hotel Under 50 Rooms – Global Award in The International Hotel and Property Awards 2023.
Exemplifying an oasis of tranquillity and seclusion, this opulent sanctuary brought to fruition through the discerning expertise of MOKO Interior, beckons to those yearning for respite and rejuvenation. Nestled in an idyllic setting, it stands as a haven catering to individuals in pursuit of solace.
The visionary aspirations of the client, encapsulating both adaptability and an authentic representation of the natural endowment, were masterfully fulfilled by the chosen location. Situated in Fadd-Dombori, a mere 100 kilometres distant from Budapest, this locale once reigned as a premier holiday destination in the region prior to Hungary’s transformative political era. With a historical backdrop of hosting families, anglers, and international kayak canoe competitions, the former freshwater beach of this vacation retreat has been resurrected to cater to both passive recreation and water sports enthusiasts.
Comprising eleven sumptuous rooms, six elegant bungalows, and an enticing outdoor pool-sauna complex, this establishment further boasts a newly crafted freshwater beach designed for leisurely pursuits as well as aquatic endeavours. A cornerstone of the operational philosophy, an upscale restaurant operates independently, adding a culinary dimension to the guest experience.
Unified through the timeless anthracite grey hue, complemented by the usage of natural materials, the architectural aesthetics are imbued with a seamless connection to the surrounding environment. Reverberating throughout the project, the natural reed motif and the geometric hexagonal pattern find artistic expression in myriad design elements.
The restaurant area, adorned with the distinctive MOKO wall covering captures the dynamic and ever-shifting visage of the water’s surface, imbuing the indoor space with a serene semblance of undulating waves. This visual symphony perpetuates an atmosphere of perpetual tranquillity, harmonizing seamlessly with the encompassing landscape.
