Glamorous Co., Ltd. have been shortlisted for Restaurant – Asia Pacific Award in The International Hotel and Property Awards 2022.

The property is a long stretch from the entrance to the back of the building with glass on all sides. The gold LGS louvers along the glass surface are designed to maximize the depth of the space, to enjoy the sunlight during the day, and to surround the space with pleasant light at night. This project sheds light on LGS, an industrial product that is usually hidden from the public and plays an important role in the space as a presence that gives a new sense of value. The minimalist and simple materials (mortar, steel, etc.) are used to create a modern overall look, and cool and calm gold is plotted at various points to give a sense of the quality and elegance of the space. In addition, the Artworks scattered throughout the space play a role in creating a sense of intonation and a powerful personality.

For the Art’s to be displayed on the gold LGS louvers, the designer told the artist Shogo Sekine the concept of the NEW LIGHT design and asked him to draw original illustrations just for this store. Each of the 12 consecutive ARTs has its own individuality, and they serve as an exciting opportunity for visitors to enjoy and make new discoveries every time they visit.

The seamless continuity of the space was a major theme in the design, with pendant lights hung so that they are gently connected to each other, the design of the lines crawling on the floor, the cylindrical pillars that tend to divide the space but do not stop the flow, and the kitchen floor tiles that flow into the dining room to enhance the sense of unity between the kitchen and the dining room.

It seamlessly connects a large dining space where guests are welcomed with a welcome bar, a private room where they can relax and talk, and an airy open kitchen where they can share the moment the food is prepared. the designer wanted to create an impression that guests would enjoy the various artworks from the owner’s collection, which are generously displayed throughout the space.
